I still find it upsetting to see the ground in Salter Road when i go past; anyway just to confirm the words "The Den" on the South Stand were there when the stadium opened.
Keep up the excellent work. That is amazing, I've only been to a dozen or so! I have been to see games at just over 600 grounds, I only count a ground if I have seen a game on it, so I don't count many on this blog in my total. I've never been to Genoa, but did go to some Italian cities in 1990, for the World Cup; & also in 2005, when our Dulwich Hamlet Supporters' Team played in a tournament in Rimini, I travelled round Italy for a week.Rabblerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00834935884051921044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4270500688830727076.post-19407449240671043932012-06-08T12:21:53.280+01:002012-06-08T12:21:53.280+01:00First of all, I'm sorry I can't speak Engl...First of all, I'm sorry I can't speak English very well but I hope you will understand me anyway.
I'm a Millwall fan from Genova, Italy (what else hould I do, being a docker and son of a retired docker?) and I must congratulate for this wonderful blog.
I love to take photos at small or derelict football grounds, especially in the Genoese area, and I've got a German groundhopper friend (Dirk Schulz, from Braunschweig, nicknamed "Teamchef") who has been to more than 150 different countries just to see different football grounds.
Thanks again and please feel free to contact me, if you need: f_bruno65@yahoo.it
FabioFabionoreply@blogger.com
