Don't worry about the 'rambling', the more the better, as it always adds to a post when people share their views.Rabblerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00834935884051921044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4270500688830727076.post-16838035469917921472011-06-01T15:39:55.285+01:002011-06-01T15:39:55.285+01:00A great overview of the ground there Mishi, I lurk...A great overview of the ground there Mishi, I lurk on the Kempster forums from time to time and have long been an admirer of your thorough photography, good job there :)<br /><br />The ground is a bit dilapidated at the moment due to a combination of repeated vandalism and high winds! - the damage to the wall creating your 'entrance' was caused by some rough weather back in February/March - but hopefully it should be looking better after the summer as there's a volunteering effort going on to repaint the inside and outside of the stand, repair walls and seats, and generally spruce it up a bit.<br /><br />The parkland at the spectator entrance side of the ground used to be occupied by a local cricket club who folded some years ago I believe, and the football club have taken the area over to use as a training ground/car park.<br /><br />Keep up the good work and sorry for rambling a bit ;PJoeynoreply@blogger.com
