TC Cepirohy; Most, Czech Republic

This small ground was on the far side of Most, a good half hour walk away from the centre. It really is 'luck of the draw' when visiting these. Maps do not tell you what grounds are there. Just mark a football pitch. it may be a school pitch, of no interest, or a small ground like this.
There doesn't appear to be any full scale matches played here anymore. The main goals look unused, and the stronger pitch markings appear to be for junior small sided football.
The banner at the ground mentions the Fotbalova Akademie Josefa Masopusta & seems to be a part of their academy. Josef Masopust is arguably the greatest Czech player ever.




I entered through the car park, which you can just see behind the dugout. There was a small bar, & changing rooms, just behind.



In front of it, by the pitch are these tables. The only 'cover' at this small ground.

As you can see, especially from the long grass around the bottom of these posts, I doubt if full sclae eleven-a-side has been played on this ground for quite a while.

If there is anyone out there who knows who once used this ground I'd be interested to know!

Hotel Hasa ice rink; Prague, Czech Republic

This is a small ice hockey arena, which I noticed on my map, not far from the Bohemians 1905 ground. So after the match there I stuck my head through the door and took a few snaps.
There were two teams warming up, I could have stayed, but it was very low level, and I was rather tired after a lnog day, having been to three football matches. So I'm not sure what standard the match was, or which teams play out of here. The university club whose name and crest is featured appear to have a skating section, but I cannot find a hockey section for them, though that's not to say they don't play hockey. Just that I can't find it on the internet.



A small rink, but still much better facilities than we have in local districts in London!

FK Siad Sous; Most, Czech Republic

I found this ground,home of FK Siad Sous, while wandering around the town of Most. Clearly a brand new stand, as you will see. It left me wondering what was here before... But having just found their website, it appears to have been just an open side, with the car park/market area behind.
There were three pitches here. The main one, with the stand, an all-weather one; which is the first one I saw as I entered through a gate, and not the main entrance on the other side. And there was also another grass training pitch, as you will see.



This is where I came in, a gate in the fence, by the main road, wasn't padlocked. This, presumably, is some sort of food or drink stand on matchdays.



This is the all-weather pitch. At the other end you can see the changing room/clubhouse complex.

And down the railed off side. You can see the main pitch goal, in the distance, on the left.

Tucked in the corner is another of those 'training walls' that I seem to spot at so many clubs over here!



Now we move round to the main pitch. Here is one end, with the hard standing inbetween here & the all-weather pitch acting as 'terracing'.



Here we look down the side with the seats. Impressive!



Here is the centre section, presumably that's a tannoy box in the middle.



These are not changing rooms or a bar area. But toilets, and the door through to the box, pitch side. I wonder if part of the building of this stand was to specifically include a toilet block here for the market days?

Behind the goal is a grass bank. You can imagine lazing here at warmer early, or end of, season games, with cans of beer, taking in the rays!

There is a nice open terrce down the other side, with benches along the top. this appears to be the only spectator area, judging from the pictures on their website.



The other pitch is behind this, with the concrete behind almost doubling up as somewhere for fans to sit or stand on.



Behind the goal are these concrete blocks. not sure exactly what they are, but damn ugly!

I leave through the gate I entered, walk up the road towards Banik most, where the game I'm going to is, and glance back down the hill, to get an overview of the ground.

HC Most; Most, Czech Republic

When I popped into HC Most there was a junior game in progress, but while I'd have loved to stay to catch some of it, I had to get my train back to Prague, and didn't have time. HC Most play in the second level of ice hockey in the Czech Republic.
Still I was happy enough to have had a glimpse inside another Czech sporting venue.
